Web10 Aug 2011 · Once u are pretty confident u have a good vac (test with a gauge) adjust the VRV. Pull a vac on the modulator on the trans too it should hold a vac with no bleed off. He means the thrust bearing in the engine. Hard shifts can damage it. Unlike a manual trans where you really don't have that banging shifting under load.
